—Type in the Maximum formular

—Press Enter

—Click and hold the mouse pointer on the result given untill it turns to a thin cross

—Drag it down to get the maximum mark obtained by each student on the list

—Click on the cell below the cell named Average obtained

—Type in the Average formular

—=Average(D4:J4)

—Press Enter
